Patience is a virtue, but it isn’t always

Patience is a virtue, but it isn’t always easy to practice.  We find ourselves getting impatient in traffic jams, long lines at the grocery store, or losing our temper when our children or husbands don’t take care of chores we expected them to do.  Fretting over little stuff seems to be the norm.  Most of our troubles are small but become powerful if we allow them to overwhelm us.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life to polish a diamond in the rough and move forward. May the wind be at my back!
